Starting today, we are asking all Starz to Purchase “Do You Know What You Have” as a single on iTunes. An increase in sales will show RCA the potential of this song and the want for a third single. Please dont just promote, we need you to buy it as well. You can do it anytime this week. The Single is only $1.29, So buy more than one or gift them as surprises to your friends if you can.

As discussed in our prior post, and #TeamBrandy meetings, Brandys biggest fans, The Starz, have joined together to take matters into our own hand in regards to promoting Brandy and keeping TwoEleven alive. We have been asking for a third single for some time and Brandy as well as us have stated we want “Do You Know What You Have” to be it.

We are asking all starz and fans alike this week to start promoting the song  by using the above graphic promotional snippet videos. Also, buying the song as a single to show RCA that there is a need and want for this song and shove their hand into releasing it. We cant stop at just tweeting it on our timelines, we need to prowl all over twitter, in blogs mentions, and in the search for keywords and send tweets and promo to people we have never even heard of before to increase the appeal of the song. Please be sure to mention Brandy in the tweets, and RCArecords if you can fit them.

Buying of the single will start tomorrow Tuesday April 9, 2013, but in the mean you can all assist us by following the official TwoEleven promo page (@TwoElevenPromo) we’ve created for all further instructions and sample promo tweets and graphics you can use.

*We will also be making promo snippet videos for 3 other songs we fill like will turn people on to the album. While “Put it Down” and “Wildest Dreams” were great songs, if you’re not a Brandy fan, it wont prove to you that there are songs like “Without You” and “Scared of Beautiful” waiting for you on the inside of the album packaging. We want to show them little snippets of these songs to see what Brandy is serving.*

Maybe the record company needs a reality check to see if THEY know what they have in Brandy.

There’s one thing we cant say about Brandy, and that is that her face isnt being seen. Our girl has been EVERYWHERE, giving people no opprotunity to miss out on what she’s serving. Not only does she have a great role in Tyler Perrys latest movie “Temptation”,  she is also touring around the world,  is now a star on BET’s “The Game” but she is gracing the cover of the latest Pynk Mag Issue. You’ve helped to musically influence an entire generation of singers and many of your fans feel that you have gone unrecognized for the impact you’ve had on R&B music. Do you agree? Why or why not?

“Sometimes I agree with it because I know there are a lot of talented people that have shown me a lot of love on top of my fans really expressing their love for me. Sometimes I think your ego gets in the way because you know you want everybody to feel that way about you. You want to get the credit. You want to get the props but I try not to live in that space because I know it’s ego. I’m just happy with being me. I’m happy with being able to be so connected in my being that I’m able to express that in my music. There are so many people who get the credit but they’re not really connected to their music. I would take the honesty and the connection with my music over the credit any day…but both would be nice! [laughs]”

We have made it our mission at BrandyDaily to not only provide you all Brandy news and info, but to be the VOICE of the Starz. We have received your tweets, and concerns that the Starz are unhappy with the lack of promotion, support, and total disregard of Brandys latest endeavors by the “powers that be”, and we are all committed to stepping up and taking matters into our own hands to make sure the world understands how much Brandy has to offer.
